Growing our Instagram Account
I led the strategy of reaching 3,000 followers on Instagram within 6 months. Through a variety of creative and strategic efforts, we were able to achieve this milestone ahead of schedule.

Our approach focused on standing out by moving away from traditional nonprofit and creating posts that resonated with our audience, while also incorporating these strategies into our campaign:

Comparison to Average Metrics
According to social studies, the average monthly growth rate for Instagram is 1.11%. I have significantly outperformed this benchmark, achieving a growth rate of 3.81% per month.

Similarly, the average monthly growth rate for Facebook is approximately 0.5%. I have exceeded this as well, achieving a growth rate of 2.26% per month on Facebook.

Surpassing these averages on both platforms highlights the effectiveness of our content strategies and the strong connection we have cultivated with our audience.


Performance Metrics

In the graphs, we can see a 3.9K% growth in followers, with an increase of 1.4K new followers, as well as a 100% increase in content interactions, totaling 10.4K interactions.

Profile visits also rose to 10.1K, representing a 12.8% increase.

These metrics are comparing the period from April 2024 to December 2024 (after I joined the team) to the previous nine months, from August 2023 to April 2024, before I started.

Driving Channel Growth

Our Instagram tone blends informative and humorous content, specifically tailored to engage youth and adolescents. Over the past eight months, our growth rate has been impressive:

Monthly Growth Rate: 4.91%

Our follower count has increased from an initial 2,274 to a current total of 3,370, reflecting significant progress in audience engagement and reach.

Facebook Growth

Our main focus has been on creating informative and relatable content tailored to the Spanish-speaking population.

Over the past eight months, we’ve achieved steady growth:

Monthly Growth Rate: 2.26%

Our follower count has increased from an initial 5,850 to a current total of 7,017, highlighting the effectiveness of our content strategy.

Tik Tok

Our focus has been on creating content that resonates with the younger generation to effectively promote youth development events.

Growth Rate: Pending
Follower Growth: Initial count of 17 now at 34.

This strategy is designed to build engagement and support among younger audiences. As this is a new channel, we are currently in the process of growing and expanding its reach.

Photographer

In my free time I enjoy photography as well as being an art director. Photograph enhances my project management skills and allows me to express my creativity.

I bring these skills to the workforce, aiming to capture compelling images for social media and other marketing elements.

Ponte Las Pilas

These are images I took during the "Ponte las Pilas" event. As you continue, you can see the "after" version of the first picture, edited using Adobe tools. After cleaning up the image, it was also repurposed for other marketing materials beyond social media.

El Grito Merch

These images were taken to promote EL Grito merch. Since I had zero budget for this project, I relied on creativity and available resources. Interestingly, we found someone with a car, and I knew incorporating a cat into the merch design would be eye-catching and an effective way to market the product.
